Hotel Sporting

The rooms are very clean, the breakfast is very successful and satisfying. It is suitable for Turkish taste. The location is 10-15 minutes walking distance from the metro. If you want, you can go anywhere you want by bus, which is a 2-minute walk away. Note that the Colongo Center’s station is closed on Sundays, you have to take the bus.

Nice quiet place but it’s definitely not a 4star hotel, max its 3 star. Have to say that thanks to reception staff as all of them was very helpful with all our extra requests. However huge minus for cleaners as room was not clean, dust was everywhere,carpet wasn’t hovered, shower cabin wasn’t clean it’s covered in limescale all over. Air conditioner is not working. Lift is too slow.

Nice hotel close to Milan. Friendly staff and they have a decent amount of options at breakfast. I am giving three stars because the shower in our room had poor drainage and as a result, it would create a pool in the shower after only a few seconds. Couldn’t take a shower longer than three minutes or it would overflow. The hotel is right by a busy highway so if you are looking for peace and quiet, go somewhere else.

Airconditioning was not working. For german and english; on website it says breakfast till 11.30 am. When arriving on sunday 10.15 am they told us it is only till 10. He showed us the italian website, there is says flexible till 11/11.30 ( so you still don’t know when it ends..? ) and on english and german it for sure is till 11.30. At checkout we were not asked if our stay was good and we mentioned ourselves the above. She said sorry and that was is. If you want to go into the city. We came by car, and you can park for free at metro station nord. there you can take the m2 to the city and if you want to go to the dome you have to switch to m1 at some point. Maybe 30/40 minutes trainride total. For your info.

The rooms are lovely, beautiful bathroom and very clean and comfortable space. The main reason I am giving 5 stars is because the staff are honestly amazing. They have all spoken with me in English as my Italian is atrocious, the service is fantastic and the commitment of every staff member really shines through. There is a range of different personalities and it’s great to receive service from such a welcoming team. The restaurant is fantastic, a great atmosphere and very quick service. Within a minute of finishing each course I had a waiter come to remove my plate and the next course was served right away. The food itself is superb, beautiful presentation and great flavours. If high quality Italian cuisine is your thing then this is definitely the hotel for you. I am staying in Italy to feature on a TV show which has been a great new experience, but I still have to say that considering the excitement of being in a new country and doing something I never dreamed of doing before, seeing the commitment of the hotel staff has been the highlight of my stay. I am a chef myself so I know first hand how exhausting and demanding the service industry can be, and how challenging it is to stay motivated at times. It is very rare to find this level of service with such consistency. If I could leave 6 stars then I would!

Although it says is a 4-Star hotel, I would give it a maximum of 3. The price is not cheap for its quality. The rooms are spacious but everything is a bit worn out, it needs an update. The minibar was not working but you could buy warm water for 1.5 euros. The worst past though is the breakfast. Industrial orange (?) juice in plastic cup. Every morning the same options: croissants, a cake, yogurt, cheap ham and cheaper tasteless cheese. The only good thing was that the had scrambled eggs and bacon, the only hot option. You have to wait to get those things, but the personnel is not always there. Apart from that, the receptionist were quite unfriendly both at the check in at check out. The location isn't great neither.
